For a secure and free of play connection between motor and screw jack, ZIMM recommends the following assembly sequence:

Attach the motor flange to the screw jack
Mount the gearbox-side coupling half on the shaft
Insert the coupling spider
Mount the motor-side coupling half onto the motor shaft
Place the motor onto the flange and fasten it
Axially position the motor-side coupling half free of play and fix it (or pre-position it)
Close the mounting opening in the flange
