ZIMM offers ZK bevel gearboxes in clearly defined types and versions to cover different installation situations. A distinction is made between a classic T type and two L versions with left- or right-hand output. In addition, solid-shaft and hollow-shaft versions are available on the output side, particularly for applications with limited installation space.

Which types and versions are available for ZK bevel gearboxes?

Three types are available for ZK bevel gearboxes:

  • T type
  • L version (left-hand output)
  • L version (right-hand output)

What characterizes the T type?

The classic T type has one input shaft and two output shafts.

What characterizes the L versions?

The two L versions have one input shaft and one output shaft. The output shaft is positioned either on the left or on the right side of the gearbox.

Which versions are available on the input and output sides?

Two versions are available. On the input side, a solid shaft is always used. On the output side, a solid shaft or a hollow shaft is available.

When does the hollow shaft offer advantages?

The hollow shaft offers advantages when installation space is limited.
