ZIMM machines components to customer drawings on CNC machines by milling, turning, drilling and threading, supplemented by surface treatment. Which processes, materials and machining steps are suitable results from the geometry, the unit weight and the quantity of the respective component. ZIMM assesses this information and supports process selection and production planning. Design, material selection, tolerance and quality specifications are defined in the drawing submitted.
