ZIMM recommends:

- Initial inspection after 1 month
- Afterwards, annually
- Lubrication intervals: regular inspection for trapezoidal screw threads, every 100–300 operating hours for ball screw drives (depending on duty cycle)
- Regular visual inspection for wear and lubricant condition
